Every year in the winter months since 1999 I have been quilting with the Cedar Grove Quilters.  It is a special time for me.  I love the collaborative and meditative aspects of quilting  and I always learn a lot about quilting and other things.  Oral history is passed on at these meetings in an informal and unstructured atmosphere.  I love history and this is the best way that I have found to really learn about a region and the people there.   It is a refreshing pause from the frantic pace that goes on in our world today.
