BATH  ART STUDIOS
located at 105 N. Main St in Bath, NC

Bath was incorporated in 1705 and is the oldest town in NC.  The first library and the oldest Episcopal Church, St Thomas, were established here.   The earliest postal road ran through Bath.  It was an active port in the 18th  Century and  home to John Lawson who was the first surveyor of the colony.  The  notorious Pirate, Blackbeard aka Edward Teach made Bath his haven and hideout.  Edna Ferber visited Bath in the early 20th Century and did research for her popular novel "Showboat".   Bath is located along the inner banks of the Pamlico River Basin and is accessed by the Albermarle Tour Highway.  A visit to Bath is a unique experience as it combines the atmosphere of an 18th century village with contemporary life.  It is a comfortable respite from the hectic life of the 21st Century .

Many new ideas have come my way because I located a  studio in Bath.  Enter the site and see what is happening or make an appointment to come by the studio if you are travelling our way.
